Wooden Montessori Mate Rough and Smooth Boards Kids Educational Toy Set

This set of three wooden rectangular boards aids in the development of the tactile sense and preparation for handwriting skills. The first board has a smooth surface and a rough surface of equal size. The second board has a series of alternating rough and smooth strips to build dexterity and fine motor control. The third board has a series of sand gradations from fine to coarse. Our boards have the sand glued directly to the board, rather than using sandpaper cutouts, which can curl over time.
